Rhinoplasty is a specialty of Dr. Siegel, which he centers on two guiding principles: determining the best aesthetic solution for the shape and anatomy of each individual’s face and maximizing long term results after surgery.
Each person has unique features, including their nose. When one decides to undergo an operation to complement or enhance their appearance, the surgery should be tailored to each patient’s anatomy.

Each time Dr. Siegel performs a rhinoplasty, the surgery is planned around each individual patient’s needs. The techniques from patient to patient need to be adjusted to deliver the desired result rather than ending with a uniform look with every patient.
Long term results are essential. Dr. Siegel strives to achieve natural looking results six months after surgery, or six years after surgery. To achieve this, he believes in changing the geometry of the nose, rather that removing too much support, like cartilage and bone that ultimately lead to an “operated look”.
Rhinoplasty, or nasal reshaping is a surgical procedure designed to correct deformities of the nose, to not only improve its breathing function but also to enhance one’s appearance by achieving the right balance between the nose and the rest of the face.
Rhinoplasty is essentially a form of surgical sculpting of the nose and is accomplished by careful contouring of the bone and cartilage giving the nose its shape and support. At the same time deformities that cause breathing difficulties and sinus disorders can be corrected.
Rhinoplasty is performed under sedation or general anesthesia. The surgery takes approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours. With “seamless rhinoplasty,” most incisions are placed inside the nose where they are least visible. With Dr. Siegel, discomfort is minimized because he does not use tubes or painful packing after surgery.. In most instances, change in appearance can be seen immediately.
Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most common cosmetic surgical procedures performed, however it remains one of the most difficult if not the most difficult operation to perform. The “after” result will depend on the surgeon you choose, his sense of aesthetics, the individual configuration of your nose, and the effects that healing will have on the nose after surgery.
